GIC Exam Eligibility 2022
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree graduates with an average of at least 60% in all semesters, ( general & OBC 55 % for SC/ST candidates).
- The graduation/post-graduation subject differs depending on the stream for which the candidate is applying.
- A candidate must be an Indian citizen, a Nepalese or Bhutanese subject, a Tibetan refugee, or a person of Indian ancestry.

GIC Assistant Managers are hired in two stages:
Online written exam

Personal interview
Candidates who pass the written exam are invited to participate in a Group Discussion (GD) and an interview round. The interview will be used to assess the candidate’s professional knowledge and important skills. Selection Process for GIC Assistant Managers in 2022
Two online examinations are followed by a Group Discussion and an interview in the selection process. There will be a total of 200 points for the Written Test, Group Discussion, and Interview. Candidates for the next round are filtered at each stage.
Minimum qualifying marks for the online test are :
- 60% for general candidates
- 50% for SC/ST candidates.
